Kate's makeup on Night of Heroes military awards event (19 Dec. 2011)
I believe kate's makeup was done by a professional makeup artist. if
not then she did a great job. I absolutely love this makeup. even more
than her wedding makeup. her makeup was totally different than her
everyday/occasion makeup.
Eyebrows:
her eyebrows felt in with pencil/eye shadow/gel. color similar to her hair colour.(Brow Set in Mink, Eye Brow Pencils in Lingering and Spiked will do but it really depends on your hair colour)
Eyes:
I can definitely see some individual fake lashes in the outer corner of her eyes. She used 2 to 3 layers of black mascara on upper and lower lashes.
I totally recommend the Smokey lash from MakeupForever. she
tight-line and waterline her eyes with black (or very dark brown eye
pencil eg. toffee from YSL) any black eye pencil will do. she is wearing
black shadow (carbon from MAC) as a thick eyeliner and a bit winged out
at the end and blended towards her crease. and make a eyeliner with
black eyeshadows over the blended shadow. blended eyeshadow at the
crease with a very natural beige matt eyeshadow (recommend cork, soft
brown, bamboo, texture or tete-a-tant from MAC)
under her lower lashes used a black shadow blended very softly.
Cheeks:
she went for a pinkish/peachy (which is more pink than peachy) tone blusher this time. i recommend something like Melba from MAC or PECHE 553 from Dior.
Lips:
Her lip was matching her blush. she had a rosy peach brown lipstick something like Biarrtiz from coco shine Chanel (no.42).
In general i loved her makeup on that day it was stunning.
